Refund & Returns Policy

Overview

We really do want you to be happy with your purchase! But we understand things happen. Please don’t hesitate to contact Cherie at Cherie@CheriesMacabreMinis directly with any issues you may have with our items. We will do our honest best to help you!

The legalese…

Cherie’s Macabre Minis is happy to accept online returns within 30 days of your purchase date for a full refund of the amount paid for the item after any discounts, exchange for an item of equal value, or store credit. Items returned after the 30-day return period are not eligible for a refund or exchange. Postage and sales taxes are not refundable. Store credit will be issued in the form of a one-time coupon code for the credit amount.

Items must be returned in good condition. Please send Cherie and email at Cherie@CheriesMacabreMinis.com before returning an item as she may be able to help you through whatever the issue may be and save you time and money. 🙂

DAMAGED ITEMS: If the item was damaged when received. Please let Cherie know. She will then let you know if the item should be returned (you pay return postage) or if she chooses to send you a new item at her expense (she pays postage).

Exception: The Haunted Ouiji Table is warranted for 6 months. If it is damaged on arrival or stops working within that time frame, let Cherie know at Cherie@CheriesMacabreMinis. There are some things that she may be able to trouble-shoot and fix via email. If not, you may be instructed to return the table to Cherie (you pay return postage) and she will repair or replace it and return it to you (she pays return postage). If your table needs repairs after the 6-month warranty period, contact Cherie. Repairs can be made for a $30 fee to cover repair costs and return shipping. You pay to return the table to Cherie.

Non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Items damaged due to obvious mishandling
  • Sale items. All items listed “On Sale” or “Sale” are sold as-is

To complete your return, you must first contact Cherie@CheriesMacabreMinis.com and let her know what the issue is. Photos of damage is required prior to any return being accepted.

There are certain situations where no or only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery and not covered by an item-specific warranty as stated above.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days if it is retained and still valid on our system. If we have difficulties applying your refund using your original method of payment, Cherie will contact you via email to determine an alternate method. This might include an alternative electronic method such as PayPal, etc. or a written check sent via USPS.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received and in like-new condition, a store credit will be issued to you in the form of a one-time-use coupon code for the amount of the item. The code will be mailed to you through the USPS, or emailed if you provide your email address with the return. PLEASE contact Cherie@CheriesMacabreMinis.com before returning any item for further instructions. All return postage is paid by you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will manage your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you MUST first contact Cherie at Cherie@CheriesMacabreMinis.com and explain your reason for the return. Cherie may first attempt to instruct you in repairs or she may authorize the return and provide further information to you including the physical return address you should use.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item as we have no control over the shipper used.
